Job Details

  • Financial Degree / National Diploma with 4 years relevant experience
  • Computer literate in all MS Office programmes on intermediate level
  • NAV experience will be a strong recommendation
  • Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans (written and spoken language)
  • Professionalism with excellent communication skills
  • Valid drivers licenseThe incumbent will be responsible for administrative and financial support to the Manager:  Farmer Development.
    • Duties:
    • Financial:
    • Electronic record keeping of above
    • Jobs Fund Bank statement for 6 offices
    • Training and Schools – verify all invoices and processing on NAV
    • Financial Administration
    • Reporting – prepare reports, check against budget, copies of farmer’s budget to mentors, compile reports for DARD & DRDLR
    • Support to accountants and auditors
    • Administrative:
    • Accommodation, flight and car hire arrangements
    • Staff claims
    • Processing of Farmer Development invoices for payment
    • Logistical and arrangements and financial administration for year end functions
    • Arrangements for Farmer Development events and meetings
    • Processing of payments
    • Training – invoices, queries, summary of training
    • General office administration, such as collecting mail, ordering stationary, manage petty cash
    • Assist Regional offices, mentors and trainers on the WEB
    • Electronic record keeping of RECAP and REID documents
