Specific Skills Required

  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level
  • 1 – 2 years management experience in logistics or loss control
  • Understanding of supply chain processes
  • Computer literacy
  • Technical / Maintenance aptitude
  • Knowledge and understanding of OHASA
  • Operations experience (6 – 8 months) will be advantageous
  • Job description
  • Maintain health and safety procedures in line with Company policy
  • Enforce day to day security operations in store to minimize loss
  • Sustain the store and equipment maintenance processes to ensure availability, functionality and safety
  • Monitor performance of service providers and give feedback on performance to improve effectiveness of delivery
  • Enforce day to day cleaning and hygiene operations to facilitate a hygienic store environment
  • Support the implementation of loss and control measures
  • Control and order consumables and equipment within allocated budget
  • Develop, recruit, retain and lead a competent and motivated store operations team
  • Conduct performance and development discussions with team
